Germán Aczel hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He spent his school days drawing. By the age of 16, he was already publishing in local media. After winning his first awards, he began working for Argentina's leading daily newspaper La Nación, and shortly thereafter for the country's most important sports magazine, El Gráfico. At the age of 20, he held his first major exhibition and also represented Argentina at international events.
